# Chat widget 3.0

We’ve launched a new chat widget design that improves user visibility and experience. You can now display an icon along with text to make the widget more noticeable and intuitive for users.

* **Expand Mode**\
  Users can now expand the chat widget to view conversations in a larger, more comfortable interface.
* **Email Transcripts**\
  Option to request a transcript of the chat to be sent via email for future reference.
* **End Conversation**\
  Users can now end the conversation manually whenever they choose.
* **Privacy Banner**\
  Display your privacy policy upfront to comply with legal and compliance requirements.
* **Announcement Banner**\
  Use this to share important updates or messages with users directly on the chat widget.
* **Privacy Link**\
  Always make your privacy information accessible to users by linking it clearly in the widget.

### Mute Chat Widget Sound

End-users can mute notification sounds from the chat widget, giving them greater control over their experience. This feature allows for a quieter, more personalized interaction, especially useful in meetings, quiet environments, or when users prefer minimal distractions.
