# Copy Chat Transcript of a Conversation

Users can capture conversations instantly with the click of a button, easily preserving every detail in transcripts to save or upload onto their CRM as permanent records.

1. Go to the **'Live Chat'** screen.

2. Select the conversation for which the transcript needs to be copied or downloaded.\

   You can find your chatbot conversation in the following sections:

   1. **You**
   2. **Assigned**
   3. **Unassigned**
   4. **Closed**

   For now, let's go to the 'Closed' conversation section.

3. Click on the three dots icon and then selet the copy chat transcript option.

4. You can paste the transcript directly in the email body, word or docs as per your preference.

> The chat transcript will consist of time of the chat along with messages exchanged between the bot and the visitor
