# Edit Variables in Closed Chat

You can **edit variable values** in all **closed chats**. This allows your team to update or correct information even after the conversation has ended, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.

#### **Steps:**

* Open any **Closed** chat
* Click on the **Edit** icon next to the variable
* Enter the new value
* Click the **Tick** icon to save the updated value
