When it comes to collecting input from visitors, a classic stand-by is the time-tested form. Though tedious for users, its ease of use makes this an invaluable tool in gathering multiple data points quickly and effectively.

Streamline your workflow and get the information you need in one fell swoop. The Form block allows for a quick, comprehensive collection of essential details like name, email address and phone number, saving time when confirming appointments or gathering data from clients.

Applications of Form:

  • Collecting multiple inputs.

  • To keep the chat short and quick.

  • To reduce the number of to's and from's.

  1. Let's start by clicking on ‘+’ to add the action block.

  2. Search for the "Form" block and select.

  3. Click on 'Form 1' to configure the block.

  4. You can configure the message on the right panel. This message will be sent to the visitors when the Form Action block is triggered along with the form fields.

  5. Click on Fields included in the form to configure:

    1. Name:

      Enter the name of the field. This is what the visitors will see.

    2. Validation Method:

      Select the validation method i.e., the text, name, email, phone & custom.

  6. You can add multiple fields in your form by clicking on "+ Form field" button.

You can have maximum of 5 fields.

Some fields can be as ‘optional’, so the visitor can still move ahead in the conversation if they are not filled.
