Send an Email

With Send Email action blocks, users can stay connected to the conversation happening between their visitors and bot. This provides a great opportunity for organizations to get notified of key interactions while they are away from the business page - ensuring no interaction goes unseen.

Uses of Send Email:

  • When a lead is generated.

  • When the visitor has entered their details.

  • When a conversation has been completed.

  • When a conversation has reached a particular point.

Setting up the block:

  1. Let's start by clicking on ‘+’ to add the block on the canvas.

  2. Search for the "Send Email" Block and select the "Send an email" block.

  3. Click on the 'Send an email 1' block to configure it. You can add email addresses of your choices in the To, CC, BCC fields.

Include the chat transcript:

By enabling this, we will include the entire conversation history between the user and the bot till this point. It will allow your team to look at the chat exactly as it occurred.

After enabling this, you can still add the body for more context. This will be added at the bottom of the email.
